Cover in GTA has always been all or nothing: you commit to it, or you leave it. This gives you the space between — lean out while you are aiming, and catch roof edges on the way up.
Both features are built on the engine's own animation tasks. No teleports, no fake props, no forced shots, and nothing another player sees differently from an ordinary GTA animation.
01 Hold left or right while aiming and the body leans out of cover, while the mouse keeps full control of your aim
02 The shoulder camera follows the lean and probes for collision, so the view never pushes through a wall
03 Body clearance is checked before the lean commits, so the ped never ends up inside geometry
04 Per-weapon profiles decide what leans: pistols, SMGs, rifles, shotguns and MGs lean, snipers and heavy weapons stay locked
05 Jump toward a roof edge and the catch is automatic, with no extra keybind to learn
06 The climb is the engine's own TaskClimb, so it replicates like any native animation
07 You have to be moving toward the wall, so dropping past one on purpose never grabs you
08 Optional muzzle obstruction indicator, off by default
01 Nothing loops while nothing is happening: the peek worker starts on aim and stops with it
02 Collision and clearance probes are asynchronous and cached per side, never one ray every frame
03 The muzzle indicator keeps a single pending query, with no worker thread and no network event per shot
04 Leaning and climbing are client-side and cosmetic: no server event fires for either
01 Qbox, QBCore, ESX, ox_core, standalone, or your own framework through an editable bridge
02 No ox_lib, no database, no dependencies at all
03 Any restraint, emote, inventory or camera resource can block both features with one export
04 Recoil scripts route their pitch through a single export, so the two never fight over the camera
05 Keys are real FiveM key bindings, so players rebind them in Settings
Support runs through our Discord.
01 Every threshold sits in one config file: lean strength, camera offsets, per-weapon rules, grab reach, probe placement, approach speed and cooldowns
02 The framework bridge is escrow-exempt and readable, so a custom setup is a few lines rather than a rewrite
03 English and German included
